Thanks For Life - End Polio Now

Thanks For Life is an initiative, specifically designed to combine the talents and efforts of every Rotary club in RIBI with these main aims...
* To raise £1m for Polio Eradication through the Thanks for Life initiative.
* To maximise public awareness of the Rotary Polio campaign, the Gates Challenge and Rotary in general.
* To increase membership.
Southampton East member Barry Wright is co-ordinating the Group 6 support for the scheme. The participating clubs are:
Southampton East, Southampton Magna, Southampton, Hedge End Breakfast, Southampton AM Connect, Hamble Valley and Locksheath.
Barry has arranged collection permits at a number of local venues during the week commencing on Rotary Day, 23rd February 2010.
The complete collection schedule divided into 2 hour is:
| Tuesday 23 February | Locksheath Centre | 9am - 5pm |
| Thursday 25 February | Locksheath Centre | 9am - 5pm |
| Saturday 27 February | Tesco, Bursledon | 9am - 5pm |
| Sunday 28 February | Sainsburys, Hedge End | 10am - 4pm |
Southampton East has been allocated the following slots:
| Tuesday 23 February | Locksheath Centre | 3pm - 5pm |
| Thursday 25 February | Locksheath Centre | 11am - 1pm |
| Sunday 28 February | Sainsburys, Hedge End | 2pm - 4pm |
