New Interact Club's First Event a Great Success
Hamble Sports Community College Interact Club held their first Fund Raising Event for their Carers Charity and made a profit of £110.00 by selling Bugers, Hot Dogs, and Sweets as their End of Term Event at 1.00pm today (22 July 2009) called Schools Out - Burger Off.
They sold out everything and ran the event in a very professional way. Many Staff Members assisted and thanks go to Ian Knights the Head Teacher for permitting the event on the last half day of term.
In the Autumn 2009 Term they will be organising their Treasure Hunt Event to support an International Project with Schools in Cambodia.
Following President Sophie Stremmel's request to the RCSE on July 14th 2009, Southampton East have agreed to match fund the Interact Clubs Local Fund Raising, making a total of £220!

The Hamble Community College Interact Club have been presented with their Certificate of Membership as an Interact Club by the President of Rotary International John Kenny and the President of the Rotary Club of Southampton East Bob Bax. The members of the Interact Club will formally receive their certificate in a College Assembly
