Great News!  Hamble College has been selected to provide a Games Maker Team of seven students to help with the technology assignments at the Sailing Olympics at Weymouth and Portland. The Games Maker Team from Hamble Community Sports College will attend the selection day at Canary Wharf on Sunday 5th February, to provide technology support for the Olympic Sailing Event at Weymouth and Portland in August 2012.

The members of the team were selected under criteria including, showing continued commitment to the College, being inspirational leaders and being 16 years of age by July 1st. The team, consisting of seven students and two members of staff are very excited to have been chosen to go forward for
the selection day, where they will be interviewed and observed in their ability to work well as a team. They are hoping to go through to four days of training in the next few months before attending the Olympic Games in August. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for members of the College. Six of the seven students are also Interactors.
